Is it really free? What's the catch?
Yes, really free. Warrior Watch is 100% donor-funded through T1D Warriors, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your school, team, or classroom pays nothing for the kit, the training, or shipping.
Who is the training for?
Any adult who might be with a T1D student or player during a low: coaches, teachers, athletic trainers, bus drivers, aides, camp counselors, youth ministry leaders. It's under 15 minutes, self-serve, and works on any phone. Train together or send individual training links by email.
We already have glucose in the nurse's office. Do we need this?
The nurse's office isn't on the field, on the bus, or on the field trip. Warrior Watch kits go where the child actually is. The kit is a supplement to your school nurse, not a replacement.
When can we request shipping?
After your people complete training and pass the quiz, request kits directly from your dashboard. Choose how many eligible kits to ship and where. No approval is required, and shipping to your organization is free.
Can we request more than one kit?
Yes. Each unique passing email earns one kit, so the more people you train, the more kits you can request. Choose the number of eligible kits and the shipping destination from your dashboard.
Do we need parental consent to give a student the kit's contents?
The kit contains fast-acting glucose, the same kind of items a T1D student already carries. Always follow the student's diabetes care plan and your school's procedures, and involve your school nurse. For a severe low, or if the student cannot safely swallow, call 911.
