The reality

A T1D low doesn't wait for a nurse or a parent.

At practice, in the classroom, on the bus, blood sugar can drop fast. Confusion turns to crisis in minutes. Most adults panic because no one ever showed them what to do.

Who it's for

Schools, youth sports, and classrooms come first.

Warrior Watch is an organization-to-organization program. Kits go to the places T1D kids spend their day, not to individual households. Businesses and community orgs are welcome too.

Common questions

Everything you're about to ask.

Is it really free? What's the catch?

Yes, really free. Warrior Watch is 100% donor-funded through T1D Warriors, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your school, team, or classroom pays nothing for the kit, the training, or shipping.

Who is the training for?

Any adult who might be with a T1D student or player during a low: coaches, teachers, athletic trainers, bus drivers, aides, camp counselors, youth ministry leaders. It's 30 minutes, self-serve, and works on any phone.

We already have glucose in the nurse's office. Do we need this?

The nurse's office isn't on the field, on the bus, or on the field trip. Warrior Watch kits go where the child actually is. The kit is a supplement to your school nurse, not a replacement.

How long does shipping take?

Kits typically ship in 5–7 business days after your request is approved. Rush requests for time-sensitive events (a tournament, a season opener) can usually be accommodated, just tell us in the form.

Can we request more than one kit?

Absolutely. Most schools request one per building, one per team, or one per activity zone (gym, field, bus). Tell us how your program is set up on the request form and we'll size it appropriately.

Do we need parental consent to give a student the kit's contents?

The kit contains fast-acting glucose (juice, tabs, gels) — the same items a T1D student would already carry. We recommend looping in your school nurse and following your existing severe-low protocol. The rescue card in the kit walks any adult through it.

Who runs Warrior Watch?

Warrior Watch is a program of T1D Warriors, a Kentucky-based 501(c)(3) built by T1D families, coaches, and clinicians. Our mission: No 1 Fights Alone.

I'm a parent, not a school administrator. What do I do?

Use the referral form above. You give us the school or team name, we do the outreach. You never have to make an awkward ask yourself.
